  28. literature that came with my 230 duo:

  30. RAM configurations
  31. All models ship with 4 MB.  Additional RAM, up to  24 MB, can be installed
  32. by means of a memory expansion card.  RAM chips must be rated at 70 ns
  33. access time or faster.

  35. Important:  Don't attempt to install your own RAM card unless you are
  36. comfortable working with electronic equipment.  Insallation instructions
  37. are provided with Apple's RAM cards for people who want to install the
  38. car themselves.  If you don't want to install your own car, any authorized
  39. Apple dealer or service provider can install it for you.

  41. Warning:  Opening the computer's case for any purpose other than to install
  42. a RAM card will void your warranty.  Do not modify any other componenets
  43. or attempt to repair the computer yourself.

  48. can not install the express modem.
