- I would like to know of any and all nubus cards that are available
- with fast RISC processors that can be used for running floating-point
- intensive simulations on a Macintosh.
-
- Currently, I am using a PAC8 card with 4 transputers that is
- sold by StarTech. It is a descendent from the boards originally
- sold by Levco. StarTech also sells a card with a MIPS R3000 on it
- and another with the Intel i860. Alas, the latter does not have a
- Mac-based development system. (The R3000 board comes with a complete
- UNIX system running on the card.) Are there any other boards out there?
- I'll summarize the email responses.
