  31.   NO, the R35 is the SE resistor NOT the Plus one. Mr Feldman says that both
  32.   R8 and R9 has been removed, so it's NOT the resistor problem. I suggest he
  33.   checks the SIMMs, it's probable they were damaged during the installation.
  34.   Touching the SIMMs without being grounded may damage them, static electricity
  35.   is very harmful to electronic components.
  36.   (Maybe your local university store may accept to check them ?).
  37.   If checking the SIMMs tells they are OK, then i'm afraid i can't help him.
  38.   (an ultimate test : reinstall the older SIMMs, you can solder the R8, and
  39.   reinstall FOUR 256 KB SIMMs, if your older SIMMs don't work then i'm afraid
  40.   you Mac has been damaged during the installation process).
  41.   About the SIMMS speed, the Mac+ needs 150 ns SIMMs min, so 100 ns & 70 ns
  42.   should work.
