  13. A friend of mine is converting from the MS-DOS 
  14. world to the Macintosh world.  His constant 
  15. comment is, "this is so easy, not like in the DOS
  16. world", just about ten times a phone call.

  18. Anyway, he has a HP Desk Jet Plus that was connected
  19. to his MS-DOS bag-of-bolts.  According to HP, this 
  20. printer cannot work with the Mac without a hardware
  21. solution, serial to parallel conversion or some such.

  23. I know that the Orange Micro Grappler will probably 
  24. work but does anyone have any first hand experience
  25. with its use with this printer?

  27. The second question is, is there a software solution?
  28. This printer has a serial interface, can this be
  29. used with a standard serial cable from the mac and
  30. the proper software?  Has anyone done this?
