- I have an SE/30 with a High Density drive. Lately, the drive insists that
- most of the disks I insert are write-protected when , in fact, they are not.
- If I eject and reinsert the disk, the lock indicator will eventually go out.
- Sometimes this takes several tries. This problem is becoming more frequent.
-
- I have tried cleaning the sensor post with disk head cleaning solution, but
- it doesnUt seem to help. Has anyone had similar problems? Is there a fix
- that doesnUt involve replacing the drive?
-
- Thanks, Lawrence
