- To recap:
- Several people, including me, have posted here about problems with their Duo
- battery losing its charge after only a few days. One person reported that
- they actually had to have repairs to the logic board. I thought I'd relay my
- solution to my problem.
-
- After getting quite annoyed at having about a 1 minute charge left on my
- battery, and no luck with the recharger, (and irritated that I'd have to
- take my machine in for service), I took the battery out to look at it. When
- I put it back in, it started charging like a madman and has held its charge
- since. (And yes, I am sure that it was _all_ the way in before.)
- Silly me, I thought that for >$2000, these machines would have better
- battery contacts than your average transistor radio.
-
- The Moral of the Story: Check your Contacts. (And thanks to those who
- emailed me and suggested this, even after the fact.)
