- Hooking up two Macs using a printer cable is just fine, if you're ONLY
- hooking up TWO macs.

- If you want to transfer files between two machines, or connect a printer, than
- you CAN use the printer cable.

- However, if you want to hook up more than TWO devices (machines, printers,
- whatever), than you need the network adapters (PhoneNet, etc.). In general,
- you can also run the lines of the network cable father than you can run that
- printer cable. In addition, running phone line 100 feet for use with a
- PhoneNet box costs less for the cable than a 100 foot piece of printer cable would!
