- Before you get too free with those pliers, I've got 4 MB installed in my
- Plus, and I only cut the R8 resistor, back when I first installed 2 2MB
- SIMMs. I never cut anything else when I installed the other two, and I've
- never seen/heard/read any indication that you should cut anything else. I
- have had no problems. I would advise that you cut only the R8 resistor and
- try rebooting. I think you'll find that it works fine. It's harder to
- UN-cut a resistor than it is to cut it ;-).
