  17.   I checked w/ a local "superstore" on Wednesday, the 20th (Computer City,
  18. they're moderately up-to-date w/ Mac stuff), and they said the CD300 (ext.)
  19. would start with them at $599, but that they had none and weren't likely
  20. to have any for 4-6 weeks. The salesman said they'd seen 1 cd300, installed
  21. in a IIvx, which was supposed to have been their floor model, but the manager
  22. sold it out from under them...

  25. 8+ weeks, I might just break down and get a NEC-74...
