- I read an article in the February issue of Mac World saying there is some
- extra unused space in Apple hard drive.
-
- I inspected mine with Apple HC Setup. My drive is Apple (or IBM) HD80 in
- the PowerBook 160. I found 3.9 MB of extra space. According to the
- article, it's possible to use this space by repartitioning the disk.
- But it also says you might lose your data "if something goes wrong". So,
- I'd have to backup my data before repartitioning.
-
- I'm curious to know if some of you have done this already. How many extra
- Megs have you got? Was the data destroyed or safe? What is the possibility
- of "someting goes wrong"? Any other comments?
