  14. i've got a 2si with a HP Deskwriter C (original, not the nifty five
  15. fifty)...

  17. i could of sworn that i printed something in color once with
  18. illustrator 3.2, but perhaps i was mistaken.  i KNOW that i can with
  19. pagemaker 4.2, but when i place EPS into pm 4.2, all that prints is a
  20. nasty bitmapped preview.

  22. illustrator somehow cleans up it's previews and rasterizes (?) it's
  23. postscript commands into something that looks quite nice on the
  24. deskwriter.  unfortunately it doesn't do color.  grayscale it does,
  25. color it does not.

  27. i've got...version 2.0, directly from HP.

  29. so somebody tell me--apart from buying freedom of the press light (oh
  30. yeah, i've got $99 lying around here somewhere--NOT)--is there any way
  31. to get color from illustrator 3.2 to my deskwriter c?
