  13.     I have a REALLY irritating problem.  With my Modem Port.
  14. The machine is a MacIIfx.  A while back I had one of those Teleport
  15. ADB Modems, and it emulated the serial modem port.  I never had to
  16. actually use the modem port phisically for anything.  Well, I got 
  17. a new modem recently and tried to plug it in to the modem port.  No
  18. response.  Then I tried my deskwriter there.  No dice either.  The
  19. serial port appears to be closed.  I SERIOUSLY doubt that it is 
  20. damaged in any way.

  22. What is the cure for this malady.  I read from someone else in this
  23. group that he was experiencing the same problem.  Is there a solution
  24. (ie: would the PRAM thing help, or would I need special software).
  25. Anything that is shareware would be appreciated.
