  13. I'm very new to programming in databases in general and 4th Dimension in 
  14. general and have several questions.

  16. 1.  Is there a way to copy fields?  I have a few databases which
  17.     have the same setup but only one character difference in the 
  18.     name and it would be nice to be able to just input the first
  19.     set and then copy and modify the rest.

  21. 2.  Is there a way to set up a 1 character alphanumeric field?
  22.     according to what I've read so far, alpha fields must be at
  23.     least 2 characters long and I need this one to only allow one
  24.     character.
