- There really isn't anything to fix; it is a matter of interpretation. When
- you find "School St." you are looking for all records that contain "School"
- and "St." in that field; you are not looking for the string "School St." in
- the field. It works as designed.

- Now, whether that is the optimal design is another consideration. One
- possibility is to enhance the application by adding a metacharacter to
- represent a space in a search. I don't know whether the FileMaker team is
- considering this, but I do know that some of them read this newsgroup.
