  13. The biggest problem with lookups in FM Pro is that they are UNRELIABLE!!!!!

  15. This (now that I've got your attention) stems from the matching of words.

  17. eg: if file schools contains (IN ORDER)
  18.   St Columba's Primary School
  19.   St Columba's School
  20.  
  21.  
  22. then a lookup to schools of "St Columba's School" will return the FIRST
  23. of the entries.
  24.  
  25. So will a lookup like "School St".

  27. The matching is to the first entry matching ALL the WORDS in the lookup
  28. field.

  30. Be VERY careful about the implications of this one - I was hoping FM v2 would
  31. have a fix - it doesn't.
