- On my IIsi I typically get around 30-40kb/s ftp-ing (either
- with fetch or ncsa ftp). While I understand that file
- transfer thruput depends on a LOT of variables I wonder
- if there's an acceptable range. With the same drop
- cable my DOS 386/33 box can do ftp up to over a 100kb/s.
- Also, what would be the things to try to improve file
- transfer speed (eg: will increasing cache help?).
-
- Thanks for any advice/response.
