- detects one, would send a standardized "This person is calling you" Apple

- to a list of programs that it maintains so that they could take action on
- it.
- It would optionally use the Notification Manager to let you know who is
- calling you, even possibly cross-referencing it with a list of names and
- phone numbers so as to report the caller by name. The Apple events could

- used by individual programs to bring up the caller history in a database

- something of the sort.
