  14. I have got a Mac connected to ARCnet network with Standard Microsystems
  15. Corporation's SMC ARCNET NB250 Network Controller Board.
  16. I would like to use it for internetting with MacTCP. Unfortunately the 
  17. board came equipped only with an MacARC AppleTalk ARCNet driver i.e. it 
  18. enables only AppleTalk connections. But, as you know, in case of AppleTalk 
  19. connection MacTCP packs all the TCP/IP packets into AppleTalk ones and 
  20. nobody knows to unpack them again.

  22. So I probably need another driver for the ARCNet card which lets
  23. the MacTCP think it is on Ethernet.
  24. Does anybody know are there such ones available for this board?
  25. I have talked to some local dealers of SMC, they do not know anything 
  26. about the matter.
  27. Or perhaps some other solutions might help?
