  12. I found a strange incompatibility between Adobe Type Manager (ATM) version
  13. 3.0 and Suitcase version 2.1.2 and I wonder if it is a known problem.
  14. I installed the two on a PowerBook 160 on top of a clean out of the box
  15. installation of System 7.1 using the customized software installation for
  16. the PowerBook 160. The PB would stop during the startup process after 
  17. loading ATM and would display a blank screen (no messages, no errors,
  18. no crashes). When I tried to load each of the two, either ATM or Suitcase,
  19. the startup process finished and all was well. This happened even when 
  20. Suitcase wasn't opening any suitcases. Finally I changed the loading
  21. order having ATM load before Suitcase and they both worked together.

  23. Did this happen to anyone else and is there a fix other than changing
  24. the order?
