- I found a strange incompatibility between Adobe Type Manager (ATM) version
- 3.0 and Suitcase version 2.1.2 and I wonder if it is a known problem.
- I installed the two on a PowerBook 160 on top of a clean out of the box
- installation of System 7.1 using the customized software installation for
- the PowerBook 160. The PB would stop during the startup process after
- loading ATM and would display a blank screen (no messages, no errors,
- no crashes). When I tried to load each of the two, either ATM or Suitcase,
- the startup process finished and all was well. This happened even when
- Suitcase wasn't opening any suitcases. Finally I changed the loading
- order having ATM load before Suitcase and they both worked together.
-
- Did this happen to anyone else and is there a fix other than changing
- the order?
