  27. A few packages that you might find helpful that spring immediately to
  28. mind are:

  30. 1. "Help" -- analyzes your software configuration and reports any
  31. potential
  32.    problems, such as System Extension conflicts, software
  33. incompatibilities, etc.
  34. 2. "MacEKG" -- tests individual components in a Macintosh and lets you
  35. know
  36.    if any of the chips, processors, etc. aren't working as they should
  37. 3. "Peace of Mind" -- similar function to MacEKG
  38. 4. "Snooper" -- again, another hardware testing program. Snooper also
  39. comes with
  40.    a NuBus board so that you can test a machine even if it won't start up
  41. normally.
