  20. Yes, I've encountered that bug too.
  21. I've reported it to NCSA twice, but I think they don't work
  22. on DataScope any more because the new program NCSA Collage has most 
  23. of NCSA Image's and NCSA DataScope and PalEdit's options.
  24. What's missing is DataScope's Notebook :-(((.
  25. My ``solutions'' are: 
  26. - use an older version of DataScope (if you want the aboutbox/helpinfo),
  27. - don't select the About menuitem (ha-ha),
  28. - use SpyGlass Transform (commercial software),
  29. - use NCSA Collage (if you don't need the Notebook),
  30. - complain to NCSA and ask them to update DataScope (I would
  31.   like to keep on using DataScope because it's compact/fast/nice/...).
