  11. In my last post, I mentioned artWorks' use of temporary memory for
  12. document storage as "against Apple guidelines". That was incorrect.
  13. Use of temp memory for document storage is perfectly reasonable in
  14. System 7, and (as I noted in my previous post), it has big advantages
  15. when the document sizes can vary widely.

  17. This use of MultiFinder temporary memory is not possible in System 6,
  18. where such memory must be released between calls to WaitNextEvent.
