- Just to add a few minor points: (1) QuickBASIC for the Mac
- (available for around $45) is quite good and is a very useful
- programming language for the Mac just as it stands, though it's not
- clear if Microsoft will ever upgrade it; (2) ZBasic for the Mac has
- very recently been replaced by a highly upgraded and sophisticated
- version called "FutureBASIC" (Zedcor, Inc., 1-800-428-4567, listing at
- around $400, I believe), which I haven't tried, but which appears to
- have a lot of horsepower behind it.
