- I'm trying to implement word's feature for linking files so that
- page numbers from document #1 carries through to document #2. This
- is for a law school periodical.
-
- I've tried word 4.0's instructions, namely...
-
- under 'document', i click 'next file' and link to file #2
-
- then, i go to my headers and insert page numbers into both of my documents
-
- next, under 'document' i select '1' for first page on doc #1
-
- then, on doc #2, i *try* to put '0' for first page...no effect. It doesn't
- stay as '0', but simply comes up blank.
-
- What am i doing wrong!!?
-
- Thanks for any and all assistance, (email, I'll summarize if worthwhile)
