  12. Well, to create my own emergency disks (Disinfectant, DiskFit Direct...)
  13. I took the "Install Me First" disk from my PB 160, stripped it of the
  14. extra files (Autoremounter, the Installer etc...) leaving only the 
  15. System and the Enabler.  Now copy the program (Norton in this case) 
  16. onto the disk and rename it Installer.  Now it should boot and run
  17. the program you just renamed.

  19. This assumes that you don't need to use the Finder though, since the 
  20. Install Me First disk does not include a Finder.  (By the way, you can
  21. rename the disk.)
