  15. Take a good look at Resolve, from Claris. I switched to it from Excel and 
  16. the days of frequent crashes ended forever.  Not only that, it is far 
  17. more pleasing visually, it has a more coherent set of tools, and an 
  18. incredibly powerful scripting language (the Wingz engine).  Resolve's 
  19. scripting capability is much better than most other spreadsheet macro 
  20. languages.  It's  very similar to HyperTalk in design, and easy to use 
  21. and easy to read.
