  11.    My wife and I are trying to put out the Apple-Dayton newsletter and
  12. have noticed a small problem when we print to our Deskwriter. In many
  13. instances, inter-word spacing becomes almost none existant, esp. with
  14. bold text. This problem does not seem to appear when we print to a
  15. PostScript printer. The PageMaker screen shows it correctly. It is
  16. interesting that HP's print preview even shows the words crushed
  17. together. Does Pagemaker hate TrueType or QuickDraw printers? Is it
  18. common with other supposedly WYSIWYG word processing/layout programs,
  19. like Word or MacWrite? Some version numbers may help:
  20.     ATM V2.0.3
  21.     Deskwriter Driver V3.1(Serial)
  22.     Pagemaker 4.2
  23.     System 7.0.1 with Tuneup
  24.    I'm interested if there is some hidden Pagemaker/Deskwriter flag that
  25. I need to set. I should mention that I have HP Fonts, font substitution, etc.
  26. all turned off. ATM/TrueType was supposed to make those settings
  27. obsolete, weren't they?
