  15. Has anyone tried the $80 fax/modem offered with the MacInTax upgrade?

  18. Since there are so many MacinTax upgraders on this group, perhaps
  19. someone here can comment on the fax/modem hardware or software?  Is it
  20. worth getting, or does it work as badly as MacinTax itself?  Followups
  21. are directed to comp.sys.mac.comm, where I posted the original query.

  27. I'd like to know if the $80 fax/modem offered with MacinTax upgrades
  28. is worth it?  It is a Best Products SmartOne 9624FX for the Mac, with
  29. QuickLink software (couldn't get them to tell me which version).  Does
  30. anyone have any comments or experience with this hardware?  Suggestions
  31. for preferable products in the same price range?

  34. Is QuickLink plus whatever else it has a reasonable software interface?
  35. (they claim it can work with any other fax/modem software so are there
  36. suggestions for alternative software I should obtain instead?).
