- Wrong! The Mac is only pumping 8 bit data to the screen.
- Wrong! The alpha channel is nonstandard on Macintosh. Big deal that SP3.0
- uses alpha. What happens if you take that alpha'd image and try to use it
- somewhere else? Splat!
