  11. I need a little advice.  My mother, due to some screw-ups at the local
  12. computer shop, has found herself in a situation where she has the
  13. choice between a Panasonic Business Partner 170 or a Toshiba T-1000XE
  14. (both would be second-hand replacements).  On the surface, they appear
  15. reasonably close on most features, with the Toshiba appearing to have a
  16. slight edge.  The problem is that she would have to wait for the
  17. Toshiba, but has the Panasonic in her hands now (although it appears a
  18. little flaky, it may just be the battery, which will be replaced
  19. free).  Any feedback on the two models would be greatly appreciated, in
  20. addition to any other similar models that she might push for instead.
  21. Also, if anyone knows how much either of these models would cost new or
  22. second hand, it would also be helpful.
