- I tried the IBM 700c today, and the Trackpoint stick definitely senses
- how hard you push -- if you push really hard, the pointer really zips
- across the screen. I found it to be very easy to use; the teensy
- trackballs on other laptops don't seem nearly as nice. But I saw that
- you can now get something that feels similar, called the "PortaPoint",
- for about $60. If I buy a laptop that comes with a trackball, I will
- replace it with this gadget.
