- Hello, I am considering the possibility of purchasing a laptop
- with an active matrix color display. As far as I am concerned,
- they are still about $1000 or so too expensive. This is based
- on the fact that my friend got one of the Toshiba 4400s (i think that is
- the model) for about $3500. Is there any chance that retail models will
- drop this much in price in the near future? Or will I have to try to buy
- a used one to get the cost down? Or should I simply "deal with it"?
