  11. In response to Taimur Khan's report of problems with the ISIS
  12. long haul spooler and news, he and I will be working together to
  13. investigate the problem.

  15. However, I wanted to mention that a new version of the long haul
  16. spooler has been written which has improved performance and is
  17. more robust.  It is currently in beta stage and we hope to ship
  18. it with the forthcoming ISIS v3.0.8 toolkit.  The new version of
  19. the spooler supports long haul broadcasts (basically a spool call
  20. which is unreliable - not written to disk) but does not currently
  21. support long haul ORDERED broadcasts, as the older version does.
  22. However, this feature is a likely extension in the longer term.
