- After many attempts (involving swapping memory from one slot to another...)
- I have upgraded my Ps/2 model 90 from 8 to 16 Mb. However, when I fire it up,
- it only counts up to 16000k (rather than 16384), and the reference disk tells
- me I have 16Mb installed, but only 15.6Mb usable.
-
- Should I try to do anything about this, or is this what I should be seeing?
- At various times, it managed to count to only 12Mb, 4Mb!, 8Mb etc, so
- maybe I should be glad I can boot at all. However, I'd appreciate knowing
- if I should be trying to correct some problem (of course, even 15.6 Mb is a
- lot more than 8).
-
- Thanks for any suggestions
