- I have installed a SoundBlaster Pro basic card in my Gateway 486/33
- pc. After I play the Virgin Games "RISK" for Windows game, the
- sound board seems to be inaccesible. The most notable symptom is that
- upon exiting from windows, my windows exit sound is not played, and
- the program manager gets hung up. If I do not play "RISK" during a
- session, the windows exit is played fine and I exit with no problems.
-
- Has anyone encountered this problem before? I am using the sound
- drivers supplied with the card. Is there a program to reset the
- card to a sane state?
