- I've been thinking about getting Front Page Sports Football, but I wanted to get
- some reaction from those of you who've been playing it. Can anyone help me out?
- For that matter, I'd like to hear about the other games too, if one of them might
- be better for me. A friend of mine has Pro League Football (1990) which is nice in
- some ways, but frustrating in too many others. Unless they made some pretty
- significant changes, I doubt I'd want the 1992 version. I have also considered
- Konami NFL and Tom Landry Football.
-
- Some specific questions:
-
- 1. I'm only interested in the strategy aspect of play, not the active control
- of players. With this in mind, how good is the computer opponent? Is it something
- you can set, like beginner-intermediate-advanced? Will it try to learn my tendencies
- so I can't just run flea-flickers every down or something?
-
- 2. Is it easy to find the kind of play you want? The play organization in Pro League
- was really hard to work with. Can you select plays without giving away (roughly)
- what you're doing to a human opponent?
-
- 3. Can you set up a game plan and then have the computer simulate the game? This
- is one feature from Pro League that'd be nice to have in whatever game I get.
-
- 4. Is it easy to change the team files to supply names and data for actual NFL teams?
- Has anyone already done this and put the files anywhere in public domain?
-
- 5. What other things do you think are particularly good or bad about the game?
-
-
- Email is ok, though there's probably enough interest to post responses.
-
- Thanks alot!
