  16. Hello, I've recently started playing this, having only been
  17. in th lower left quadrant of the star chart, but I've managed
  18. to build up a powerful starship using all the one-eyed trader's
  19. technology (in Alpha Vulpeculae). The year is mid '57.

  21. There was a time when I was exploring the galaxy without saving
  22. the game (practice runs, if you will). I remember getting the
  23. mycon eggshell in copernicus, travelling to betelgeuse sometime
  24. after that, and then showing the mycon proof to the scantily
  25. dressed Commander Takana at the Betelgeuse space station.

  27. However, I cannot seem to show her the mycon shell anymore. The
  28. conversation ends with "Goodbye, Commander..."; I recall that there
  29. was a choice automatically given to me, something to the effect of
  30. "You won't believe this Commander, but we found a specimen, etc."
  31. I've tried all combinations (talking to Takana, travelling to
  32. get the shell, coming back to Takana; or travelling to get the shell
  33. first, going back to earth to get an explanation for the shell, then
  34. going to Takana; etc. etc. etc.).

  36. Is this a bug? Or is there a timeframe during which this event is
  37. supposed to occur? Thanks in advance...
