- Many thanks to everyone who answered my question about getting Tanaka to
- listen to reason and where to use the 'Caster to trick the Ilwrath.
-
- One of the responders mentioned that once the Ilwrath go away, they and the
- Thraddash get into a little war which makes the Pkunk very happy, because
- their enemies are toasted.
-
- This brings up an interesting question. Y'see, in MY game, I think the Pkunk
- are dead. I watched as their fleet gradually moved across the bottom of the
- map to Yehat space, and then disappeared. When I talked to the Yehat about it,
- they tersely replied that the Pkunk have been reabsorbed and refused to talk
- any more on the subject.
-
- I haven't been back to the former Pkunk homeworld yet to check up on things.
- So I'm wondering-- do the Pkunk give you anything important other than the
- piece of the Ultron? They were the first alien race I visited in the game, and
- I haven't returned to them since.
-
- Also, was there supposed to be a way to get the Thraddash to allow me to build
- some of their ships? I convinced them to go attack the Kohr-Ah to prove their
- worth to their Ur-Quan masters, and then I kinda stole the Aqua Helix from
- them. They've been quite pissed at me ever since. Which is no big deal, since
- their ships are easy to destroy and I just stay out of Thraddash space. But
- I'm curious anyway.
-
- One final question: I've been using the Precursor ship in all my battles--
- it's far more effective than all other ship types. What about the rest of you?
- Do you prefer the Precursor ship, or do you tend to use other ships in battle?
- I'm assuming I'll need them for the final confrontation, but for now it seems
- like it's a complete waste of time to build or use other ships.
