- I was just browsing though Compuserve tonight, when I decided I'd take a
- look at Sierra game prices in the Electronic Mall. To my suprise after
- typing GO SI, one of the menu choices was "ACCESS SIERRA NETWORK", so I
- selected it for sh*ts and giggles, anyway I was confronted with another
- menu with ABOUT and ACCESS choices (AND a return to CIS). I read the
- about, which basically gave a pitch for Sierra Network and had a blurb
- about accessing the Network through compuserve. Not being a member of
- the Sierra Network I chickened out and didn't push the ACCESS button.
-
- Anyway after that long winded droll, has anyone accessed the Sierra
- Network this way? Would seem a natural for those who the Sierra Phone
- Network hasn't reached yet, since Compuserve is more widely available.
- Are there any "extra" charges associated with accessing it this way? I
- wouldn't think there was an extra compuserve charge since this would be
- through the Free Electronic mall (free means basic service). Is there a
- degradation in performance by accessing it in this manner? (as opposed
- to directly accessing the Network)
