  14. TDS makes special 256K and 512K RAM cards for the HP48... but don't be
  15. fooled into thinking that they give you that much memory all at once.
  16. They are "bank switched" cards.  Only one "bank" of 128K is available at
  17. a time, and the other 128K banks are switched out and are totally
  18. inaccessible.  The *ONLY* difference between a 512K TDS RAM card and four
  19. separate 128K RAM cards is that the TDS card can do the "card swapping"
  20. via software commands so that you don't have to physically swap cards.
