  16. I don't know why I'm telling you this :-), but it would seem to
  17. me that the logical person to take over such a project would
  18. be Jan Britteonson <bson@gnu.ai.mit.edu> because:

  20.     a) He wrote STAR and intimately familiar w/ the 48
  21.     b) He was supposed to be (last I heard) writing the GNU
  22. C interpreter for the FSF, and thus presumably has a C compiler
  23. background.

  25. Unfortunately, he's probably too busy, but it seems to me he'd be the
  26. person to ask.
