  14. I have been working on this port (I did the port of 19.3).  So far it
  15. does *not* work.  It seems OK at first, but when using gnus to read
  16. large newsgroups, memory is trashed.

  18. This happens with /bin/cc, and with gcc2.3.3 with or without #define
  19. SYSTEM_MALLOC, with or without linking with dbmalloc, with or without
  20. optimization.  I've given up for now, I strongly suspect this is not
  21. an hp-specific problem.
