  30. Yeah, well said. The morality of letting people get burned or killed ( and
  31. before someone flames, read the post from the digit on this ) is above belief.
  32. Yes, a patch can be faulty, or can booby trap other parts of the system. BUT,
  33. with out sources, it is impossible to tell, and current licence conditions
  34. forbid you to look!

  36. If the people running Dec can't see the difference between an unexpected
  37. error causing an accedent, and the same caused by the willful withholding of
  38. information on a known problem, I only hope that there is a second vendor
  39. of Alpha chips REAL SOON.
