  16. | subscribers a subscription to PC World (same publisher) at 1.6 issues
  17. | of PC World for every issue or RUN remaining. They say that this will
  18. | start with the January issue. (I don't know if it did, as soon as I

  20. | refund.) They will extend the subscription of any current PC World
  21. | subscriber.

  23. I phoned as well and told them I had no use for PC World, that it would cost
  24. me the effort of picking it up from my post office box and taking it to the
  25. recycling center without giving me any information I could use, and I would-
  26. n't accept a subscription even as a gift.  The customer service representa-
  27. tive told me there would be a Commodore section (a shadow of Run just as the
  28. Gazette section of Compute is a shadow of Compute's Gazette).  She said that
  29. our subscriptions would begin with the March, 1993, issue (they were being
  30. held back until the Commodore section began); that Run subscribers who were
  31. already receiving PC World would be switched the Commodore edition; and that
  32. they were asking Run subscribers to wait for one issue to decide whether we
  33. liked it before we cancel.
