- Today I went by my US Atari Dealer (who is based in my own town of 40,000
- people) and bought a British magazine with two Timeworks Publisher disks.
- It includes GDOS.
-
- I have seen much discussion about GDOS, but I never used it because I
- thought it was an expensive alternate windowing system for a very few
- programs.
-
- So my questions are:
-
- Am I legally supposed to use GDOS? I know that it was included for
- TimeWorks publisher, but does this mean I can use it for other programs?
- I don't want to break licensing agreements.
-
- If I need to purchase GDOS, should I wait for Speedo GDOS which has
- some type of changeable font sizes?
-
- Where do I get fonts for GDOS? Do I buy them from Atari or are they
- publically available like the fonts for TeX? Or are some fonts free and
- other copyrighted (requiring a royalty payment)?
-
- Thanks. Forgive my ignorance.
