- The active display can be set by computer sync timing or by the monitor
- adjustment of vertical and horizontal deflection amplitude. Any IBM
- monitor has external controls for horizontal and vertical size, the
- SM124 has internal adjustments. What I am talking about here is the
- physical size of the picture, not the amount of data displayed as in the
- overscan mod. The SM 125's that I have seen were all set for larger
- display but this was one of the improvements. Unfortunately the design
- was so bad they had a high failure rate (higher than normal for Atari).
- Anyway as I said in the original post I had already tried the internal
- adjustments and could not get enough range. I was wondering if there was
- some other modification required? It doesn't seem so from the replies I
- have got. Thanks anyway for answering.
