  28.    needs to be if one wishes to use dbm files with Perl.  (I think THAT
  29.    was the main reason that I attempted to compile it here at home.)

  37. Yeah, this perl 4.035 was compiled with GDBM 1.5, also ported by
  38. J.R.Bammi (should be available on a.a.u.e). I don't know, if you
  39. already know GDBM, but don't expect anything heavy in term of database
  40. functionality. There is essential nothing more, than the associative
  41. arrays in perl, which can be bound to a DBM file. Metalbase offers
  42. much more functionality, compared to real database management systems
  43. (what I've gathered from the README).
