- Hello all, long time no see....
-
- Well I finally have my BBS software written and now am contemplating
- some serious disk space.
-
- I would like to know, if anyone has hooked up a BIG 200meg plus scsi
- drive to thier MEGA STE system, specifically:
-
- 1) Can the measily 80Watt power supply handle the startup sequence?
-
- 2) Did you have to put the drive and mother board in a seperate case?
-
- 3) What software do you find best to use on it? (IE Supra? Atari? ICD?)
-
- And, what kind of performance do you get with the ONBOARD SCSI in your
- MEGA STE?
-
- I am looking at MAXTOR's 330MEG SCSI for my MEGA STE. I would hate to blow
- that size of a wad and then find it won't work.

- PS: Oh yeah, BBS number almost forgot: 608-238-7231...call and play games
- send mail...no file base yet, haven't gotten that far...I don't even
- have the drive yet!
-
- The board software is called ACICS. Node is: acics.uucp.
