- Uuhmm.. y're right. Sorry about the confusion - must have been a slip of the
- mind. Indeed, Cleanup only cleans up HDs and doesn't defragment them, and the
- PD-utility I mentioned did both, but ruined my HD while cleaning up (and not
- while defragging). I now defrag my partitions manually (move an entire
- partition to another, and move the files back again...). The advantage of this
- is that you have control over the _order_ in which files are stored on your HD.
- I always put .prg's first, followed by .rsc's, etc. Works rather well --
- although I must admit that I wasn't able to use this method in the 30Meg-area.
- But now, with a 210Meg drive, this has proven to be a rather effective and safe
- method.
- For cleaning up your HD I still recommend ICDs Cleanup though :-)
