- I am trying to interface the shoebox from a Sun-3 workstation to my
- Mega 4 ST. Unfortunately, I do *not* have any docs on the Sun-3
- shoebox.
-
- I am using an AdSCSI host adaptor and I have both ICDBOOT 6.0.2 and
- 6.0.3. ICD sees the controller and reports:
-
- 0 EMULEX MD21/52 ESDI
-
- The drive is a Micropolis 1325. When I power up the shoebox LED 3 of
- the Emulex controller blinks. What's the significance? The drive
- sounds like it comes up fine. When I call ICDFMT is sends out a
- sensing signal for SCSI devices, and the diode light on the front of
- the drive flashs but ICDFMT does not get an answer.
-
- Has anybody done this before? Any suggestions? Do I have to play
- with the jumpers and what do they all mean? Is the shoebox SCSI
- connector terminated with a resistor pack?
-
- Thanks to all! Of course, I'll post a summary for any e-mail replies
- I might get.

- Got a rejuvenated Mega 4ST with TOS 2.06! Do I *really* want a Falcon/Next/Sun?
